The Long Beach Police Foundation relies on community-based funding from private and corporate donors.

The support provided by the Long Beach Police Foundation (LBPF) does not reduce the City's commitment to funding basic law enforcement services. However, about 85 percent of the Police Department budget is committed to personnel costs and ongoing operational expenses such as vehicles, fuel, building leases, utilities and ammunition. This leaves little for ongoing training, technology and community outreach - and that's where the LBPF comes in.

The LBPF is making the community safer by providing Long Beach Police employees and volunteers the latest equipment, training and technology to stay on the cutting edge of policing.

Your contribution will help build a safer Long Beach.
